I have always liked this campsite, easy access to the lake and cycle path, the new swimming area is a bonus now too, the relaxed atmosphere on camp, access to local amenities too.

Be careful if you have a twin wheel caravan, after booking we’d heard they may be problems with this site (we couldn’t find any mention in the terms and conditions) so we contacted them to double check and was told that we could not stay on the site…also to mention even though we took out cancellation insurance, the site would not give us our €135 deposit back.

Clearer information that you do not accept Twin Wheel Caravans, and not just taking peoples money would be a great start.

We didn’t enjoy our stay here the overall quality just didn’t meet our needs. Communication was poor - had to change my arrangements due to a family illness - response was very basic and lacked empathy

Access to our pitch was poor. Track was too low and ended up damaging my water tank trying to motor move on to the plot. Toilets and showers poor standard, desperately in need of modernisation. Pitch sizes not suitable for our 7.3m caravan despite accepting our booking

Location is excellent adjacent to cycleway around the lake, supermarkets and filling station. Easy access to Annecy. The swimming pool is excellent. Pitch sizes are good.

Toilet block is outdated. No toilet seats! No soap at the sinks. The temperature controlled hot water is hardly warm enough to shower and not hot enough to cleanly wash greasy pots…shameful for the site fee! Theres only one chemical toilet disposal point and its some distance away from the camping field! The snack bar wasnt attracting much custom. The tanniy announcements seem a bit old fashioned!

There was one occasion were another camper a man at pitch 32 hit a man and his wife (pitch 62) in front of their children and nothing was done about this, in fact when it was reported to the bar/restaurant staff they said what’s the problem the children would see worse on the TV. Very unprofessional response to someone who has received physical abuse on your campsite.
