Type of stay : Family with child(ren)

      Accommodation : Wintercamping pitch

Period of stay : From 24/12/2018 to 02/01/2019

      General information

Grand Bornand resort is fantastic. Reasonably priced ski passes and great for families

Attitude of reception/booking staff. Charged for four nights that we did not stay due to their misunderstanding over email. Response was 'not their problem' and 'find somewhere else to stay' if we're not happy. Not after driving 800 miles. Very mean response to loyal customers for past 5yrs. Dog poo all along grass verge entrance to campsite. No lights in pool, dark and unsafe. Cold showers.

      Accommodation : Wintercamping pitch

Period of stay : From 08/01/2019 to 11/01/2019

      General information

Ideal location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Shower blocks very clean and warm

No waste bins on site. Although municipal bins are not too far it would be good to have some on site. Some pitches are too close to others.

Clean, tidy toilets. Close to ski lifts & town centre

More toilets and showers required. I often had to queue. I only found the ski boot room on the last day and I didn't have a padlock for the ski storage

Type of stay : Family with child(ren)

      Accommodation : Wintercamping pitch

Period of stay : From 17/02/2019 to 23/02/2019

      General information

Having the swimming pool after a day of Ski was great. The receptionist was so nice that even if we arrive 15 minutes past the check-in time she waited for us. Really appreciate that!!

The motorhome pitches had lots of ice. This had two main issues. Our motorhome got stuck on the ice one of the days not being able to get out of the pitch. We ask for help and we got a pick and shovel to solve our problems. On top of this, walking out of the motorhome was super dangerous because of the ice and we fall into the ground a couple of times. We asked for help/salt with this issue and they did not help at all.

Type of stay : With friends

      Accommodation : Wintercamping pitch

Period of stay : From 01/03/2019 to 08/03/2019

      General information

Location is excellent with ski bus stop and walks nearby . Lovely bar / restaurant onsite

Poor pitch space and quality based on high price . Vans parked under supervision intentionally close to neighbours

      Accommodation review

Were able to be pitched next to friends and excellent shower and toilet facilities

Parked very close to nearby vans when there was lots of empty pitches and no need to be so close. The price for a pitch has increased a lot and so would expect more room , pitches are not defined . We have visited many times but the price may put us off returning again .

Fabulous resort and campsite. We have stayed many times before although not for 9 years! Everything about this holiday was fantastic! The village, the weather & snow conditions.

      Accommodation review

we were on the lower part of the campsite in the sunshine - I had particularly asked about this.

Our electricity kept tripping even though we had paid for 10 amps. In England we have 16 amps on our sites.
