The site owners were very welcoming and helpful, and took time for a chat. They fixed us up with an extra extension cable, and gave us good advice about where to go. The view (when it came on the second day) of the Bossons glacier above the campsite was amazing. We appreciated the free train pass, which allowed us to go in and out of Chamonix, and take a train ride to the end of the line as a quick way of seeing the valley. We particularly appreciated the presence of excellent food trucks on two of the three nights we strayed, one selling very good pizza, and the other burgers, ribs, etc.
Hard to think of any - but perhaps better access to the water refill tap.
Accommodation review
We were in a mid-sized camper van, and there was plenty of room for it in our pitch. If your map shows a train next to the site, don't be put off. It's a slow-moving, very quiet train that goes only three or four times an hour. And the station is a short walk from the site, which was great.

Excellent pitches, fantastic view of the mountains, food trucks every night, facilities basic but everything you need and always clean and well kept.

Location is very good, quiet, nice camp, friendly staff, clean. 5 min walk to train station, best view of mountains.

Toilet disposal for caravans of camp next door, is on the fence near the pitches, so when somebody goes to clean their toilet it smells to all neighbour pitches.
